Software Resources

 

SolidWorks

We use SolidWorks for conceptual design work, 3D modelling of parts and assemblies and preparation of manufacturing drawings.

ANSYS

ANSYS is used for advanced simulations of parts and structures, fluid dynamics and a variety of other simulations to validate our design goals before they are released for manufacturing.

 

SolidCAM

When a part is ready to go into manufacturing, we use SolidCAM to generate high quality programs that can be reviewed, optimized and fed into our CNC machines to bring your parts to life.

AutoCAD

We use AutoCAD primarily for generation of 2D drawings, to increase our throughput of manufacturing ready part drawings.

 

Manufacturing Resources.

 

CNC Milling

We have several CNC milling machines located in our manufacturing campus. With a variety of bed sizes and accessories like automatic tool changers, our systems are ready to take on your part requests.

CNC Turning

Our CNC turning machines are used for all kinds of challenging work including high precision spindles to custom fasteners.

CNC Wire EDM

We use our wire EDM machines for everything from parting machined components to machining critical parts where stresses and deformations from conventional machining techniques make those methods unsuitable.

 

CNC Die Sinker EDM

Like the wire EDM, we use our Die Sinker EDM machines to manufacture parts that cannot easily be made using conventional machining techniques.

Deep Hole Drilling

Deep holes in parts can sometimes be absolutely critical to a parts performance. However, deep holes present a challenge with conventional techniques. This is where our deep hole drilling machines are used and are instrumental in error free precise execution of holes that are long and narrow.

Surface and Cylindrical Grinders

Surface finish is important for both technical and aesthetic reasons. A ground surface is a critical finishing operation that must be done right. Our surface grinding and cylindrical machines give your flat and cylindrical surfaces the precise and beautifully ground surface you need for parts like precision ground shafts to spindles.

 

Conventional Machining

While CNC machines are now the widely used for most machining, conventional machining is still has great utility; especially when in the hands of skilled and experienced operators. Our conventional machining facility is equipped with milling machines, lathes and drill presses.

Inspection Resources.

 

ZEISS Cordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)

Measurement results with high accuracy are very important to maintain quality and performance standards in the space, aerospace and defense industries. Our high end bridge CMM has a precise probe system that can make fast, reliable and accurate measurements.

Electronic Height Gage

An electronic height gage is a critical to a good metrology setup. With our electronic height gages, we can make fast and accurate measurements on your parts to ensure what we manufacture matches what was intended.

Automatic Surface Roughness Tester

Surface roughness is an important control parameter for many parts, in order to achieve their end goal in an assembly or a final product. Our automatic surface roughness testers give reliable roughness measurements suitable for most parts.

 

Optical Comparator (Profile Projector)

We manufacture quite a few precision components that are fairly small in size. Our optical comparator (also called a profile projector) is frequently used to inspect these parts as it magnifies them and projects their image on a screen where measurements can be taken.

Temperature Controlled Inspection Room

No inspection area is complete without the right environment. A temperature controlled environment is important to good metrology. Our inspection equipment is all housed in a clean temperature controlled room where the effects of thermal expansion due to temperature change is eliminated.

 

Assembly Resources.

 

Mechanical Assembly

Our large mechanical assembly area is equipped with workbenches, pneumatic supply, excellent illumination and tools. Our assemblers have extensive experience working on complex electro-mechanical assemblies and undergo frequent training to keep their skills updated.

Electronics Assembly

We have a dedicated electronics assembly area complete with the tools to assemble and test your electronics components and assemblies equipped with ESD workbenches with good ergonomics and illumination which is important for high quality electronics assemblies.
